The GWR Project attended the Chemical Engineering Congress.

The event featured presentations on topics related to gray water reuse.

The GWR Project was represented at the 22nd Chilean Chemical Engineering Congress, "Innovation for Sustainability", held in Valparaíso, by research assistant Nadia Águila and thesis student Amanda Chávez.

Both Águila and Chávez participated in different sessions, presenting from the perspective of treating domestic gray water for subsequent reuse. Nadia Águila presented the poster "Treated gray water for irrigation of green walls and roofs: Influence of Treatment on the Substrate and Plants", and Amanda Chávez presented her thesis, "Evaluation of Flat and Helical Modules for the AGMD Process for Gray Water Recovery".
The PUCV School of Chemical Engineering and the Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology Specialty Council of the Chilean Association of Engineers (A.G.) organized the conference to provide a meeting point for academics and researchers in chemical engineering, biochemistry, bioprocesses, and related fields, as well as representatives of national companies in the sector.

The GWR Project participated in the Environment, Energy, and Water Resources thematic area. There, chemical engineering solutions were presented to reduce environmental impact and promote efficient energy and water resource management.
